Speaker wires pulled through factory loom into the door! One of our specialty in most project and one of the difficult part!

The Enclosure Build!

With the requirement of losing no space as priority we were really worried!
Do we have the space to install the 27V1 as per the manufacturer requirement!
Focal recommends ported enclosure and someone who has listened to this sub in this configuration might be able to say they are spot on!

So we followed the vehicle body contour and build the box first!




Plugged the measurements into bass box pro and found that its exactly the measurement required to do the smallest ported box for this sub! Wow! we got lucky!







Now this is where it is supposed to be installed!

Now box is done, next comes

Power wires in Hood with extra battery!


SHOK Industries fuse block! Hmmm! Its interesting to note!
Some of the loudest cars in EMMA competitions these days have something or the other from SHOK Industries!




Wires installed and hidden to give it an OEM look!


Two main fuses for Battery to battery link and Battery to Alternator link



Neoglow Fuse block and Competition grade 4 AWG wires for the amps

Fuse blocks mounted on custom metal plates and wires are locked in place to avoid getting loose over a period of time!

The rear speaker setup!
We declined to install 3.5 inch coaxial in the last pillar! Instead we did this! Based on the experience from another FJ










Next comes front pillar tweeter and mid range install!

Test fitment!













Spray painted to get an idea of the shape and visual appeal







Sanded down to start the paint job! OEM Finish is the aim!






After painting it twice we are satisfied!












Now lets try to install this!

Now the trunk part!

Amplifier and cross over installation!


Before we started!




WE built a custom amp rack to accomodate two amps, distribution block and front speaker crossover!



4 number of 4 inch fans installed to ensure proper air flow through the enclosure!
Fan speed controlled to avoid fan sound in silence!








In the trunk the amps goes in!

With the floor panel on no one will ever know whats under neat! Plus tested for over 100KGS of weight per sqft








We connected the oem stereo aux into the factory aux and cut a port to install the Alpine USB cable for easy access!
