Kicker Fused distribution block under the hood!

The belt in bad condition

We cleaned the engine room part by part and it was a long process! But worth the trouble as we are going to complete 90% of the wiring in the hood today!

Look closer to see the 0 AWG power wire from alternator to fuse block and 0 AWG ground wire from alternator to battery!

Image

The Kicker Fused Distribution block ready to take some 0 AWG wires

Image

Neoglow 4 AWG ring terminals (Gold color) is actually over sized and can easily take 3 AWG wires. But check out the 0AWG ring terminal that can accommodate SHOK 0AWG wires! Its monstrous

Image

Image

Image

The SHOK Industries 0 AWG wire!

Image

Wiring it up!

Planning took us a while! Wanted to keep it as simple as possible.

Image

Image

Now how do you safely drive 3 oversized 0 AWG wires through firewall with grommets

Image

Probably the only car in UAE running 3 runs of 0 AWG wires!

Image

That is spool number 2!

Image

Now This is not going to work! Back to drawing boards!

We build a complete fiberglass base on the trunk lid to do the custom job.

Takes a lot of time and patience to do this. Thanks to the effort by Don

Parallel to above the enclosure is build outside and dry fitted! Another huge effort by Jun

Now test fitting inside the car!

Wow!

The door panels waiting to be powered

The LED TV is test fitted and wired up!

Image

Multiple layers of amp rack. We realized it will be impossible and stupid idea to display all the amps.
So the Kicker ZX650.4 has to take the lower part with custom cooling system to proper ventilation.

BAtteries mounted and Battery terminals installed.

Fuse blocks mounted and wired up

TV and speaker wires routed!
