Right now there is no grill that can be fixed on the focal speakers.
I am with you on the idea of the grill but we cant just put in any grill over there.
Please be careful when you leave something below the box in the woofer area. A lil bit of caution. Something sharp or with an edge would damge the cone.

even a bag or similar thing can block the jumping of woofer ...

Can the back wall be cut in order to accomodate the unit inside and get the facia door to close, i dont mind losing the box inside!!

You simply outdone yourself again here Neo! Congrats on another clean and wonderful install!

It plays good music too, but I hope the end user could change his headunit to a 9887 to maximize the setups potential. :twisted:

Audi uses Nokia too and nothing beats them at OEM shitty speakers!
I always thought something like that was almost impossible in that side of the world,supa stuff dere Neo!

The vehicle has been handed over to the owner.

Initial settings had the tweeter attenuation set to -6db based on the previous vehicle.

On this model of alpine there is no options to control the 250 Hz to 9 Khz spectrum.
So the only option was to reduce the treble which seriously impacted the top end.
Based on te customer feedback we decided to open up the doors and set the attenuation to 0db.


There was huge improvement. The EQ on unit can now be tweaked to perfection.

We hope in few days the owner enjoys the system and understands the pain we have gone through to deliver the solution in pristine condition.

We have also included our life time installation guarantee on this one.

despite it was painful installation but for sure you have learned a lot. ;)
